Holidays in a Luxurious Wilderness Escape
Hyatt Lost Pines provides a holiday season filled with events, music and activities. Beginning Wednesday, November 26, through Sunday November 30, the holiday spirit begins at Hyatt Lost Pines resort as live music, holiday sounds and roaring fireplaces continue nightly. Room rates starting at $259. Holiday Cowboy KR Wood will entertains children of all ages with holiday music, puppet shows, reindeer horns, cocoa and the ever popular S'more roasting in front a roaring campfire. Resort guests and non-guests are welcome to visit the resort and enjoy these complimentary festivities unless otherwise noted.
When guests at Hyatt Lost Pines wake up Saturday, November 29, they'll instantly be transported into the holiday season as Lost Pines "elves" will transform the resort - inside and out - into a holiday wonderland overnight! Nature-based decorations will adorn the resort's lodge-like lobby, flanked by two roaring fireplaces, as well as the dining outlets and grounds. Twinkling blue and white lights will cover top to bottom outdoors.
During the day on Saturday, Southern Living will be on site providing demonstrations on holiday inspirations and table-top decorating ($35 per hour-long session). Click here for details. Later that evening, award-winning country rock singer/songwriter Joe Ely performs at 7:30 pm. ($25 at the door that night for non-overnight resort guests).
Hyatt Lost Pines will be filled with the sounds of jazz music the award-winning Hannibal Lokumbe and his Quintet on Saturday, December 27. Dancing and jazz will be the evening's agenda all within the beautiful Lost Pines Ballroom. As part of the evening, Lokumbe will present his original score, "Can You Hear God Crying," celebrating the joy of today's environment, along with the Lost Pines Community Orchestra. Overnight packages, including two concert tickets, start at $309 (plus tax).
On December 31, the Family New Year's Eve Celebration will be in full swing as Hyatt Lost Pines is alive with roaming musicians, performers and artists. The all-inclusive Family New Year's Eve Celebration will include a Lost Pines Roadhouse BBQ buffet - with Shiner Beer Can Chicken, Pecan Smoked Brisket and much more - complete with authentic Texas live music and decor. Activities for every member of the family include the Riversong Lawn Main Street Jamboree providing games, face painting, photos and other activities; Texas Two-Steppin' under the starts at our LBJ Pavilion with more live music; Holiday Wagon Rides; Glow-in-the-Dark Putt Putt Golf; Total Request Teen Hangout with pool tables, music, foosball and other activities. Bring everyone together to watch the "Lost Pines Live Fireworks Show" while toasting in the New Year with complimentary champagne and Shiner Beer.
