Hyatt Lost Pines will be filled with the sounds of jazz music the award-winning Hannibal Lokumbe and his Quintet on Saturday, December 27. Dancing and jazz will be the evening's agenda all within the beautiful Lost Pines Ballroom. As part of the evening, Lokumbe will present his original score, "Can You Hear God Crying," celebrating the joy of today's environment, along with the Lost Pines Community Orchestra. This marks the third year that the Festival has unified churches, schools, businesses and individuals to celebrate the coming promise of a New Year. This year's community parade will feature the powerful, sensational sounds of the Djeli Kunda, a 14-member West African drum and dance ensemble led by master drummer Moussa Diabate - a world-renowned West African traditionalist master dance and drum teacher.
