McKinney Roughs Nature Park

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is tucked aside a mile of the Colorado River and adjoins the 1,100-acre McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Resort guests are encouraged to explore the resort property and to take advantage of numerous activities at McKinney Roughs, including wildlife exhibits, outdoor education and recreation programs. Hyatt and the Lower Colorado River Authority, which manages McKinney Roughs, work closely together to monitor and maintain the various ecosystems in the park and around the resort. The 1,100 acres of McKinney Roughs include rolling box canyons, wildflower meadows, lazy river bends and a diverse biological population. These meadows and gardens have been recreated on the resort's property, and interactive exhibits at the resort allow visitors to get close to some of the area's indigenous species.

McKinney Roughs Nature Park is open to non-resort guests for overnight camping and other individual and group programs
